On Fire for God!

It is so wonderful to see the Lord using the recent tragedy of our church building fire to light a spiritual fire among all those who are near us!  The Akron Beacon Journal featured a huge article about our church, it's origins and the work God is doing there presently.  ( It was in Saturday, January 22nd edition. You can view it on www.ohio.com  )   I'm so excited to see Him stirring the community to rally with us as we have been holding our worship services in our local public high school gymnasium.  I think this scattering of the flame in each person in the congregation has been a real blessing in disguise.  Please continue to pray for our people to touch the lives of those God brings our way this week and draw them close to Him :)

Grace Church Fire

My beloved Grace Church experienced a tragedy to the building as our upper auditorium was gutted by fire.  We are thankful that the folks that were in the building at the time were evacuated safely and the 6 fire departments responding were top notch about taking care of the building.  This will be difficult to repair but God's people have such a way of pulling together in a time of need like no other group I've seen.

Please pray as we work to repair and hopefully resume services soon:)

Love is in the Air!

This being the first post of the new year, I thought I would start with something that just Wow's the visual cortex!  (At least that sounds sorta smart:)  This project was designed by a fellow demonstrator named Glenda.  As soon as I saw her sample, I had to make one for myself!  It is even more dazzling in real life than the picture could possibly show!  I think I am going to be in trouble with this glitter paper.  It really is awesome!!!
