Tie the Knot - Two Hearts Become One

My Bride-to-be was a sweet gal named Brittany.  She had seen one of the wedding cards I cased from "who knows where?"  and was just crazy about the design!  Little did I know that we would be using that to custom-design her Wedding Invitations for 160:)  Well, they were a lot more time consuming than I had imagined but boy, were they pretty.  Let me know what you think!  I just love comments from those of you that wish to leave them:)

To make these, I used :

  • 121044 Basic Gray card stock
  • 101839 Vellum Paper
  • 121045 Basic Black card stock
  • 100730 Whisper White card stock
  • Glitter paper from Michael's
  • 101406 Jet Black Stazon Ink
  • Groovy Guava Ink (retired)
  • 119261 Basic Black 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon
  • 119262 Whisper White 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon
  • 115466 Wedding Sweet Stamp Set
  • 115963 Finial Press Embossing Folder
  • 113439 Big Shot Machine
  • 117332 Scalloped Heart of Hearts Embosslit
  • 120907 Decorative Label Punch
  • 119849 Modern Label Punch
  • 119883 Full Heart Punch
  • 102930 The Tearing Edge

After making the cards themselves, I went on to dry embossing envelope flap as well as stamping the lower left corner with the lovely flourish from Wedding Sweet stamp set .  Then, I used the small bouquet of swirls on the corner on the envelop that I used for the RSVP card.  They came out so nice!  ...And most importantly, the bride was pleased:)

Thanks for visiting:)

Beautiful! Thanks for sharing. I will be putting it in my folder of ideas for the invitations I will be making soon for my son and his fiancee.

The invitations are lovely! Great job!
Would love to see the envelopes also.
Honestly, though, I'm not at all surprised they are so beautiful. You always do an amazing job!
