PMS Night (Pizza, Music, and Stampin' or Scrappin')
Our monthly PMS Night is just an absolute blast! I have such an amazing group of stamping friends!! Even some of our new faces this month did not find themselves sitting alone for long.
Here's Vickie! The most recent graduate from Bow-Cademy!!!! WoooHooo!
Here's Deb ----------------------->
Below, Rose, Tyette and I are chatting after having done almost all of our projects :) The warm, friendly visits are my favorite part of stampin' night!
Last of all, here is our Make & Take from our fun evening. Can't you tell I just love the Spice Cake DSP? This Triple Treat Flower is one of our A la` Carte Stamps in the Idea Book and Catalog and actually coordinates with 3 of our punches! It was quick and easy to stamp 3 different flowers and punch them and layer them! The sentiment on our card is from the Hand-Penned Holidays stamp set. I just love the touch of elegance that sophisticated font gives this card!
Well, thanks for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed the project:) Now that you know some faces, come, join in on the fun of our PMS Night! It's always the second Friday of the Month at Grace Church, 3970 S. Cleveland-Massillon Rd. in Norton.
Inky Blessings,

Fall Card Kit Class
Have a new class coming to Norton! It's a card kit (designed by Connie Stewart- Thank you, Connie!!) that is poised and ready for almost any occasion. We'll be using the Spice Cake DSP from our Holiday Mini Catalog and all the colors of fall that go with it, to create this beautiful set! With several sentiments ready to add when needed, this versatile kit takes all the hassle out of a last minute card need and gives you the ability to personalize it on the spot:) With this clever box and lovely wide ribbon, it can be ready to give to a friend or family member as a personal, hand-made gift.
To register for this class, being held on Saturday, October 29th from 1-4PM, just drop me an email at inkartfromtheheart@gmail.com and I'll send you a registration form. You are welcome to make more than one kit, if you choose. The cost is $18 for the first set and $15 for each additional kit. Registration ends this Saturday so, don't delay.

SNAIL - a-thon Begins!!
Hi Stampers and Scrapbookers!
I have a very special announcement for you that so many of you have been waiting for! I am about to begin our SNAIL-a-thon! What is that, you wonder? SNAIL is that beloved double-sided tape runner that Stampin' Up! sells that, as many of you have concurred, is one of the best available anywhere.
Well, we are about to begin the busiest crafting season of all and most of us have experienced the pain of being mid-project and running out of SNAIL! That's why I decided to see if we can stock up all at once and save money together.
What you can do is calculate how much you tend to use in a year. If you tend to use one per month then you would need 12 for the year. By doing that, we can put together an order large enough, with the big boost in free hostess dollars ( thank you Stampin' Up!) to drive the price way down! Normally priced at $4.50 per refill, + shipping and tax, you usually pay $5.33 for each refill you order individually. Well... The more SNAILs that gets ordered the more of my discount I will put in as well! I'd like to drive that price down to $3.73 including the shipping and tax. That is a savings of $1.60 per SNAIL!! If you order 12, that is an extra $20 you save!! How about that for power buying?!!
Lee's Bonus Offer! Every SNAIL you order, you will receive one ticket for the drawing to give away the half-price items earned on this order!! I will be giving up to 4 of these away. That means you can order any one item in the catalog for 1/2 Price!!! Double tickets and a FREE Card Kit (to make 8 cards) for those who order 20 or more!!
I'm going to close out this special offer on August 31st at 9 PM . Contact me by phone, email or snail mail (ha ha!) if you would like to get your big discount on SNAIL!!

Up, Up & Away!
This new stamp set is AWESOME! I just love the selection of hot air balloon possibilities!! It's a great set by itself but is also wonderful to add the elements to any outdoor scene. You have clouds, birds and beautiful balloons to use to decorate trees, hills, bodies of water and so much more!
To make this lovely card, I used a Baja Breeze card base 11"x4 1/4", folded in half. I stamped some random clouds on it with Baja Breeze ink. Then, I stamped my Hot Air Balloons and attached their baskets using my Stamp-A-Ma-Jig tool. On a scrap piece of Whisper White card stock, I stamped the striped balloon using Baja Breeze, Concord Crush and Poppy Parade colored markers. I did add the basket to the balloon before cutting it our with my very sharp paper snips. ( I love how long those puppies stay sharp!) Using 2-Way Glue Pen, I added some Dazzling Diamonds Glitter to the stripes. Now, it is time to add to the strip with a stampin' dimensional.
Last, I added a greeting that says, " The sky's the limit!" dipped in Concord Crush on the bottom right hand corner, again, using my S-A-M-J for perfect placement.
Next, I took an 11" x 3/4" strip of Poppy Parade card stock and punched it with my Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch. Then I cut that strip in 1/2 and adhered it to each side of Concord Crush mat and then add the Hot Air Balloon scene to the whole piece. I centered that on the front of my Baja Breeze card base and tied a piece of Baja Breeze seam binding as shown. Ta-Da!!
Wood Mount #122755 $26.95
Clear Mount #122757 $18.95

Cheerful Treat Designer Purse Scrapbook
Hi Stamping Friends,
This was such a fun class!! Back in 2008, I made the first purse scrapbook that was copied from Jan Tink using the Carousel Notes and Afternoon Tea DSP. I had a hostess request to make this again, but, of course, with updated supplies. I knew, right away, that I would have to use the Cheerful Treat DSP from the Hostess Only section of the new catalog. This paper is so fun, and the colors are just gorgeous!!
I will be making a pdf file with the directions of everything I did for this class that will be available soon:) I'll let you know as soon as it is ready.

Another project from New Catalog Open House
Good Evening, Friends!
There are so many great projects that we have been making that I am dreadfully behind posting about! The new items in our Idea Book & Catalog have been absolutely fabulous! So here is one more thing we made at the Open House:
This card is not my original design but I had so much fun making it! It fits perfectly in our whisper white 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" envelopes. In the next post, I will show you something else that is great to do with those envelopes:) It uses Pink Pirouette card stock and ink, Early Espresso card stock, ink and satin ribbon. We use the Ribbon Lace Border punch on the 4 1/2" square of Whisper White card stock, centered once on each side to make this lovely frame. When you punch each side out, you are left with this perfect little card stock square to stamp on! I punched out 1" circles of Early Espresso card stock to back the lace punch sections, made a Rhinestone Brad centered faux bow and added a Rhinestone to the top of Happy I Do Day!
What a fun, easy card! The stamp sets that I used were Fabulous Florets and Word Play . The new Ribbon Lace Border punch was added to many a wishlist that night!
