Happy New Year!

There is much to celebrate, as this brand-new decade begins! Don't you just LOVE the feeling of an energizing fresh start that the beginning of a New Year brings?!! I do:)

My new little grandson was born on December 29th, 2009 at 6:09 am! He was 9lbs 4oz and certainly has his mommy's nose!

What a miracle a little newborn baby is! His big

brother, Landen, is a precious little guardian:)

There are also some other fresh new "faces" in this crafty little blog! Did you see the SAB Catalog and Occasions Mini Catalog on the right hand side? They aren't really able to be ordered from till January 5th, 2010, but you get to have a gander through the new goodies early! What a way to start our New Year!! I can't believe the new design of our punches line! A super-nice improvement.
Did I mention that we now carry a CLEAR block stamping system? Wait till you see these! They are unmounted stamps in these really nifty cases. They are the same size as DVD cases so they can be stored in any unit suitable for them. On the front of the case, you can see all the stamps in the set in their true-to-life size. SU! also put thumbnails of each stamp on the spine for easy viewing!

The stamps stick to the acrylic block using a static cling principle. You can press one onto a block right for its size or press several onto a large block for a collage effect. I think an alphabet set would be great to do this with! Spell any word you need and have it all lined up before you ink it up and stamp:) The best part about this new system is that the stamps are still made with the same high quality rubber that really sets Stampin' Up! apart. The images are crisp, clean and deeply etched to produce excellant quality images on all your projects. Unlike acrylic stamps, they will not become gummy and distorted with age and use.

Be sure to check back tomorrow and I will have my first new sample using this set :)

Inky Blessings,

Lee

Congratulations again, Grandma!! It is no wonder she had a long labor. He weighed quite a bit. He is a cutie!! I am happy for Abbi (sorry if I misspelled), Josh, you, and the rest. Babies are great. Your family just got bigger again.
